“The best New Year's Eve Experience Ever !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2014

We have been co-hosting an annual New Year's eve dinner and over night for 6 other people(4 couples) for the past 7 years. These couples travel from Rochester,NY, Great Barrington,Mass and Wilmington,DL. We are now permanent residence of Maryland's Eastern shore-St. Michaels. We have eaten many times at the Bartlett Pear Inn and were very proud of Chef Jordan's recent 3 star award and top 25 ranking in the Washingtonian Mag.'s Best 100 places to eat. The Inn staff is also as professional and efficient as the restaurant and kitchen staff. Our guest stayed 2 night and everyone felt as if you were in your own home but with much better service. We all have agreed that The Bartlett Pear Inn will become an annual tradition.

Room Tip: We had three room all with King size beds. The best is the suit #1

We loved everything about our stay. Our only regret was that the bar was not open on days the restaurant was closed. Would stay again. Great hospitality. Great location. Food in restaurant was superb.

Weekend get away with my sister. Best ever! Living locally we completed all the Christmas shopping, invitations and wrapping. 5 days till Christmas, our gift to each other was the Foodies Delight package. BEST GIFT EVER. Bartlett Pear Inn is with in walking distance to downtown shopping and entertainment. I cant rate the staff high enough, service was superior when making reservation with Alice on the telephone, our greeter upon arrival, servers, bartender and housekeeping. We felt like family. Food: All I can say is HEAVENLY, go for it, an experience you will remember forever.

We were coming to Easton for a wedding and decided to make a long weekend out of it. Best idea ever! We were in one of the attic rooms, which was bright, spacious and comfy. Dinner was incredible! Breakfast was incredible and cocktails on the porch, incredible. The Inn is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. While you're here take the time to drive to St. Michaels.

My wife and I spent two nights here in December of 2013. The room was handsome decorated and spacious. The en-suite bathroom was spacious, but the shower/tub set-up was a bit strange (it's a claw-foot tub with a shower that is enclosed with a plastic shower curtain, so it allows virtually no movement). The food at breakfast was great, but the food at dinner was stellar. We did the five-course tasting menu, and the steak was among the finest I have ever eaten. I do not drink, but the bartender, Justin, made a series of cocktails that my companions described as exceptional. The man loves his work, and, even if one doesn't care for alcohol, it's wonderful to see someone so fully and joyously engaged with his craft.

A very good experience. Sophisticated ambience, excellent food. Easton is a darling town and this is the best restaurant we have tried. Service was very friendly but not intrusive. We dip go back again!

One sentence of advice: Go for the food. Breakfast is a set daily menu, plated, not buffet, but it is beautifully prepared and served. The french press coffee is superb. We ate at the restaurant one night and found it intimate and cozy with excellent service and memorable food to match. The bread was homemade and among the very best we've ever had, along with the butter sprinkled with special salt. Be sure to have a creative drink in the bar made for you by Justin, the mixologist, to begin your evening.

Upstairs the rooms are lovely but not large, the beds cushy and comfortable. Our only complaint is that for the price, there should be good coffee available in the sitting area, not canned Maxwell House which no one who pays these prices can drink.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the street which can be noisy early. The restaurant causes unavoidable nois...
