You park up at a good altitude so avoid much of the ascent. We walked the blue marked loop trail (5 miles) in about 3h 30m with stops for photos and sandwiches. Did it on a Friday in November and saw very few other people. It was after leaf fall which aids the views as this is a forest trail. Do take the short detour to the white rocks for an expansive valley view. Particularly memorable was getting close to a roost of Turkey Vultures airing their wings in a tree.
