The Bruce House Inn is situated on the west side of Wills Creek, and over looks the old site of "Fort Cumberland". It is with-in walking distance of many of Cumberland's sites, and you have a great view of most of the church spires in town. I believe Cumberland is also called the "City of Spires".
Pam Reynolds, proprietor, is a wonderful host. Our room, the "Washington Room" had the most wonderful feel of the warmth that must have been there in the 1840's. Pam fixes one of the best breakfasts we have had in our many stays at B&B's over the years. She supplied wine, beer, cheese, and had coffee and tea always available.
You must visit Pam and the "Bruce House" if you are in Western Maryland.
We look forward to our return. This is a place you can just relax, and get away, even from retirement.
