This is the second time we've stopped by for a tasting. The host is very nice and talkative about their wines and they really are quite good. We bought a glass of the ones we liked and then bought some bottles. I highly recommend trying this place, among the best in the state and region for that matter.

Stopped here after the train ride... short walk from the station. Definitely glad we stopped. Took 2 bottles home. I would recommend a stop here for sure.

Whilst in the area, we decided to try one of the furthest west wineries in Maryland. It is situated immediately off I-68 in a quaint little outdoor shop area (parking is across the street under the ramp/bridge for I-68).
The hosts are a very friendly couple; there was no rush and no pressure. We enjoyed the conversation and learning about their “hobby.” In fact, their very casual and relaxed personalities are what make wine tasting experiences enjoyable.
The winery itself has a small output (roughly 7,000 bottles/year) with approximately 9 different wines (ranging for dry to sweet). The tasting only costs $5; if you choose to keep the little glass from the tasting, it’s $7. The wines range from $16-$25 per bottle.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed the tasting. The owner was so nice and we enjoyed his conversation during the tasting. The wine is very good and I enjoyed the smooth brandy enough to buy some! We recommend stopping.

Stopped by this Winery while walking back from the Maryland Scenic RR to our hotel. Greeted by a friendly woman who offered us a few wine tastes to find our perfect wine. Would recommend as a stop while visiting the area.
