“There are better places to eat”
Review of Joe's Viaduct Restaurant - CLOSED

Joe’s Viaduct was recommended to me by a couple of locals. I was sadly not impressed. The location is good, there is free parking and the service is about as fast as any diner this side of Waffle House. I was a little upset at the prices. I got two pancakes, two strips of bacon, and less than a half cup of hash browns with my meal. My wife got two pancakes with a single egg in the middle. We both had coffee. The total bill was just under $20.
The coffee was tasty, but the prices would keep me from going back a second time. There are other places to eat breakfast in the area that are less expensive.

Feel like I left the modern era and stepped back in time. This is a simple, small family resteraunt unchanged but smart tv's and cell phones. Not fancy, but its small town comfort & charm! Dining area is small, connected to nearby liquor store. This creates a unique charm unique to Joes nearly 70 year old location! Recipes are original to the first day of Business (including the first pizza served in Cumberland!) Was quickly greeted and seated by friendly owner. I ordered the double stack with fries. Loaded with all the toppings a good diner should have. Food was made to order. My large burger came out as ordered with a heap of fresh cut fries. Food was what it should be fresh, hot. Not a earth shattering burger but it was made exactly the way a good diner should be. Finished off with a pc of locally made coconut cream pie. Was a good experience, this is a good diner.

Was taken here by an older gentleman who eats here regularly. The staff was very friendly and knew the name of everyone eating there. Great BLT sandwich.

Joe's is a friendly family place. Breakfast is available all day, which would have been wise to explore instead of the partially frozen veal parmigiana. My friends all enjoyed their meals. Generous portions, comfortable seats, good deal. Play keno if you're feeling lucky.
