“Puccini Pizza Forget About It”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2013

Burnt crust with a glob of tasteless cheese melted on it. I know it is oven roasted but burnt?
My husband and I ordered two individual pizzas. Both burnt so much that we broke off the crusts and made a pile on the bread plates. Mine was supposed to have spinach and mushrooms. I did find a mushroom occasionally but the spinach was hard to find. A pizza that relies on the cheese alone to carry the flavor is a sad pizza. There was very little sauce. The Front Porch Pizza at Seneca Rocks makes a fabulous pie with home made crust, tasty sauce and does not overwhelm their pizza with a pond of cheese. They should make the trip and try a good pizza.

“Good Pizza”

For once forget about healthy dining and consider the garlic cheese bread....basically a delicious but artery clogging white pizza. The amibiance/history of the property was also fascinating.

“Food was great - service lacked...”

This is the perfect place to stop when you're traveling but don't want fast food. We had a short wait on a Saturday night - frequented by locals for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. One weekdays they have two good pizza deals, buy one get one 1/2 off or buy two at full price, get one free. This is a great deal but we were there on Saturday. We got the Chesapeake and the Caesar and loved both. I love a wood fired pizza place that thinks beyond meat and caprese. My only disappointment was the server, who insisted on giving us styro take out boxes when we had almost a whole pizza left, instead of a pizza box like we saw other customers with. This meant our pizza got piled up and made it hard to enjoy leftovers with the cheese stuck to the bottom of the crust and so on. We'll be going back!

“Good value”

This is a good place to order pizza if you like thin crust baked in a hearth oven. My husband and I really liked the pizza, but our kids thought it tasted burned on the crust.

“Pub and restuarant worth visiting”

The wood fired pizza is some of the best I've ever had, although I 've never been disappointed with anything. Service and atmosphere are great.
