“Excellent dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2011

Had driven by this place many times on the way to Deep Creek Lake and finally stopped for dinner on the way. Wow. It was a wonderful surprise. I had the Honey BBQ Chicken Pizza and it was delicious. Other people in our group had Crab Cakes, Sausage & Pepper Diablo, and a burger, and everyone loved their food. Can't wait to stop there again.

“Excellent food, fun atmosphere and a great little spot just out of town.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2011

We ate dinner here on the recomendation of a co-worker. The historic building adds some fun to the atmosphere, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent and this will definitely be a spot I return to when I am in the area again.
I had the buffalo chicken pizza, made in a wood-fire oven, and it was by far one of the best thin-crust pizzas I have ever had. My dinning companion had the filet and it was tender and cooked as ordered.
Overall we really enjoyed our time at this restaurant and will return!

“Busy Saturday, but good food and nice people”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2010

Puccini was recommended by the desk staff at the Fairfield. We called at 5:30 on Saturday for a table for two at 7:00. They said they could accommodate us in the cellar. The hotel clerk assured us that would be fine. When we arrived (parking is scarce!), our table was ready and the manager came over to greet us. He helped us make our wine selection (nice pours). Puccini caters to families and there were some noisy youngsters at first (it was Halloween!). We had salads with their delicious house balsamic dressing. We watched hand-made pizzas being pulled out of the antique brick oven in a steady stream. Our entrees were the bruschetta hamburger and the linguini marinara w/veggies. The hamburger was too rare, but was redone as soon as we mentioned it. The manager came back to make sure we were satisfied and our bill was adjusted. After dinner, we toured the historic building (a hospital for Civil War wounded). Would go back to try their pizza.

Good atmosphere. Food was great. Pizza very good. Pasta sauce wasn't the best, but everything seemed very fresh. Very affordable especially when Uncle Mike is paying.

“Excellent Dinner! Wonderful Dessert! Great Service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2010

This was our second trip to Puccini's. The first trip was Excellent and so was the second! The food was fresh and hot! Service was very good! We sat out on the patio and it was very relaxing. We found out from our server that the desserts are made locally, so we tried the "Bee Sting Cake" It was FANTASTIC!. I definately reccomend you stop and eat here!
