“Hot Fudge cake like used to get at Hot Shoppes”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

We went for some of the ice cream posters have raved about and had the hot fudge cake pictured at the ordering counter ... The image reminded me of the hot fudge cakes we used to get when we would stop in to a Hot Shoppe on the way home from a night out to a movie or some such. It came with couple scoops of nice creamy vanilla ice cream, lots of hot fudge, cherry and whipped cream over a slice of cake. It was good enough we came back a second night but they had added some crispy things the second time we could have done with out. Overall a worthwhile experience reminded me of the old days.

“A Must Stop While In Clumberland on the C&O/GAP Trails”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

This is an honest to goodness family owned and operated ice-cream shop. Lost of old standbys and some local specialties. They also serve breakfast and lunch. But you got to try the ice-cream… It’s sooooo good!

“Very nice treat!”
Reviewed October 18, 2013 via mobile

They only offer three flavors, vanilla, chocolate and the flavor of the day. The flavor of the day can be found on their website. I got the vanilla which tasted fresh and was very creamy. A perfect end to my trip!

“I could eat every meal here”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

I ate here a few months ago and insisted on eating here again if ever in Cumberland. The ladies are as nice as the food is fantastic not to mention the ice cream. I wish they stayed open a little later!

Reviewed October 14, 2013

The service was excellent and it appeared family operated. The ice crème was delicious and the Reuben SW was hot, and fresh...visited at least 3 times in the two days we were in Cumberland. also recommended to others at our bed and breakfast, bikers on the trail etc.
