We got stuck in Cumberland due to a snow storm and checked into the Fairfield Inn. The staff recommended the Crabby Pig for dinner, which was staying open late to accommodate stranded travelers.
Cute little area of shops an the Crabby Pig was warm and inviting. They smoke their own pork, so we gave it a try. The ribs were fantastic! In addition, they get their breads from a local bakery, YUM!!!!
Wish we lived in the area, I would be back in a minute!

This is my second visit to the Crabby Pig as I had to return for more creamy crab soup. Delicious! Paired with a lump crabmeat sandwich, both hit the spot. Husband had the same soup and a fish sandwich. The piece of fish was huge! A yummy, enjoyable meal!

I visited here for the first time this week .

We were looking for something different than fast food and had heard of this place.

Selections for lunch seemed limited but everything we tried was good.

Oyster and shrimp appetizers were good and the different lunches we tried were very good. I had the crabcake sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. It was tasty and the roll was very lite.

The weather did not allow for a walk at the canal but will return for that and another meal.

Enjoy.

Located near the C & O Canal museum and train station, this restaurant offers something for everyone. We love their crab soup with a kick!

We stopped here after a long bicycle ride and it was perfect - the best onion rings I've had in a long time. Crab chowder very hearty and spicy. Highly recommend.
