My wife and I were in the area and wanted supper before an early movie. We had been there years before but had no real memories so we took a chance. We were seated immediately and the service was fine. A real plus was that actually nice cloth napkins and heavy flatware is in use.
Virtually everything on the menu seemed hugely calorific and, from the descriptions, tricked out with spices and cheese. For that reason, we skipped any appetizers and ended up with 'shaved prime rib sandwiches' which had without the usual Swiss cheese.
The meat was fatty and seemed quite like the ends of the prime rib after good cuts had been sliced away - it was, however, quite tasty and the accompanying fries were fine.
The real downside of this place is the noise. The ceiling had hard paneling that seems to reflect every sound. There were lots of families and children and the atmosphere was just too noisy for even a moderately quiet meal.
Food was average, prices OK but the noise and the calorie injection with every course would keep me away.
