It was a quiet Thursday night so I was worried when we were seated in a mostly empty dining room. Well we were very pleased, the service was very attentive, food was served promptly, and was tasty.

If you are looking for a good vegan/veggie restaurant, combined with tasty meat dishes straight from India, the you will be pleased. The food was consistent, bountifully spiced, but not overwhelming.

This used to be one of our favorite Indian restaurant but over the past year the quality of food has gone from bad to worse. In the past place will be packed full now not even half of the tables are occupied on weekend buffets. Also adding 20% gratuity for buffets?. I do not know if management changed but unless things improve dramatically this place will not be in business long.
Glad I have other choices when it comes to Indian food nearby.

We have been eating at the Mango Grove Indian restaurant for more than ten years at the old and new locations. First, we enjoy the vegetarian dishes. We do not eat meat. The food is flavorful, generously seasoned, and the tastes are distinctly, different from dish to dish. We frequent the lunch buffet, usually on weekends. The improvements needed are: more booths needed, it is a big place so can surly use space better. Serve Masala Chai with Buffett, at least on weekend when the prices significantly increase! Please, please, please do something about the desserts. If we come often its really boring to only have Keer or Gulab Jamund for dessert every time. We go to other Indian restaurants just to have a change of desserts and to have the delicious hot masala chai which is included. We don't go as often for reasons noted below. But every time we go we are greeted by name, and the service is excellent, the dining area clean, and spacious.

Service was pretty poor. First, when you walk in it is a large empty space with no hostess stand and nobody to seat you. We did get someone's attention and got seated but then had to wait a long time just to get water. Then they got a simple order for two glasses of wine wrong. Then they did one thing that really bothers me which was bring the entrees before we finished our soups. I was prepared to be disappointed in the food - at this point there was no comparison to our all-time favorite Indian restaurant, Royal Taj. Then the food came and wow! It was great! The waiter turned out to be very knowledgeable and recommended which breads would go best with our entrees. They also got the spice levels exactly right, as I like my food very mild and my husband likes his very spicy. He is not fond of vegetables but we both loved the Baingan Bharta (mashed eggplant). I would definitely give Mango Grove another try.
