“Onion Rings, Fries and Shakes...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2014

Oh My! We did not order a meal while there, rather the 4 of us split onion rings, sweet potato fries, regular fries and milkshakes. I combined two flavors to make my own shake: Mocha plus oreo :-)

The staff as friendly and service was quick.

“Good Food, But Some Issues”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2013

Went in before 6:00 on a Wednesday. Only one other customers in the place. Service was fast, and the hot food was good. Had a milkshake that was very runny, not the usual at this restaurant.
The issue was the staff. They were obviously bored, awaiting the dinner rush, and were very loud and playing games (volleyball with sauce packets) at the kitchen entrance. The manager asked them to settle down several times, to no avail. It's very distracting to eat in such an environment, and we blamed our poor shake on the lack of attention. On the good side, our waiter was very thorough and attentive.

“The 50's Diner with Better Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013 via mobile

This is a great casual restaurant. The theme is a 50's diner right down to the music. The focus is on burgers, fries and milkshakes. While that sounds simple enough, what sets Cheeburger Cheeburger apart is the ability to customize everything to your liking. Five sauces for the fries, over twenty toppings for the burgers and as many flavors of milkshakes that you can imagine. The food is fresh, high quality and made to order. They also feature salad, wraps and non-meat burgers including turkey, veggie and salmon. The service is good and the atmosphere is friendly. A good value and a great meal is here.

“Love the milkshakes!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

Cheeburger Cheeburger is a great place to get a burger and fries. The fries can be very addictive! My favorite thing is the milkshakes. My vanilla icecream with the chocolate sauce combo is soooo good. Definitely worth giving them a try!

“Good Little Burger Place With Great Shakes”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2013

Cheeburger Cheeburger in Columbia is a good restaurant.
The restaurant is set up like a 50s diner with a soda bar at the front and plays 50-60s music in the background.

There are several highlights for this restaurant.
One is the food.
The fried mushrooms are good and the onion ring/fries combo is good.
Our fries had to be sent back since they were not cooked enough.
When they are cooked enough, the fries are really addicting.
They also offer sauces. The horseradish sauce is tasty.
One highlight of the restaurant is the number of options for the burgers.
There are size options ranging from 1/4 pound to a pound burger.
After finishing a 1/2 pound burger for kids or a pound burger for adults, you get your picture on the board by the front door.
Then there are different types of meat like turkey (only comes as 1/4 pound burger), veggie, and salmon.
Then there a number of cheese options and you determine how the burger will be cooked.
There are a number of free toppings like the traditional ones (ketchup, mustard, onions, etc) and others like cucumbers, A1 sauce, pineapples, peanut butter, onion rings, cole slaw just to name a few.
There are some toppings that cost like bacon, sautéed mushrooms and onions, chili, and guacamole.
There a number of choices for buns (wheat and Kaiser also gluten free buns).
There are other food options than burgers like salad with choice of toppings, Portobello mushroom platter, grilled chicken, sandwiches, hot dogs etc.
Then there are the shakes made with Dreyers ice cream in multiple flavors (millions of combinations according to their website) in small and large sizes.
They also have egg creams, floats and ice cream sodas like 50s diners.
Check out all these selections online.
They even have a calorie counter on the website for those who are counting calories, fat, proteins ,etc (for Weight Watchers).
This a great place to take the kids.
Now the parts that are not highlights.
The service is ok. The manager who is there a lot upfront at the restaurant is good.
Since the wait staff consists mostly teenagers/early 20s, the service is good at times and other times so so.
Then there is the bathroom. If you are seated at a table facing the bathroom, you can "see people" in the restrooms (i.e. urinals) since the door open in to the bathroom.
Overall, an average good meal and we will be back because of the food.
