Consistent...

My experience at various Marriotts is very consistent. Very courteous staff, comfortable am clean rooms, and this one had a delicious hot breakfast! No matter where I stay, if it at a Marriott I know what I am getting and I appreciate that level of consistency greatly.

Not too sure that there is no greater compliment that this! Consistency is really a very big part of what a Brand is trying to create for our guests. No surprises. Clean, comfortable rooms, good staff that meets and exceeds your expectations.

Glad the SpringHill Suites Columbia was able to deliver for you. Please come back and stay with us again when your travels bring you back to the Columbia area.

Very pleased....

We were given a renovated room on the 4th floor. The new decor is beautiful. The hallway and room was comfortable and nicely appointed. The bedding and pillows were very nice. The doors are quite heavy so expect to hear them slam shut.....no ones fault...they are just that heavy. The front desk folks were terrific! The elevators need refurbishment - so much so that I was uncomfortable on them. They are shabby in appearance but the actual operation is a little scary. We stayed 2 nights and chose to eat breakfast elsewhere. Breakfast was not appealing at all. The lobby and other commons areas were kept neat and clean. There a many restaurants and stores close by, I'd stay again when in hte area.

Thanks for the great review regarding your recent stay at the SpringHill Suites Columbia, MD.

I am thrilled that you were able to enjoy one our newly renovated rooms. Oddly enough your comment regarding the elevator refurbishment is directly related to the renovation. One of the elevator cabs has paneling up to protect the walls from the furniture that is being moved up and down the building. Yes, it is a little tacky, though it is temporary.

I appreciate your kind comments and thank you for staying with us. Please come back and stay again...once the lobby is finished, it will look like a completely different hotel. We are excited!

Feels like home

I stay at the SpringHill Suites in Columbia, MD for a couple days each month or so. It is convenient to my MD office, but more than that, when I walk in the door they make me feel like I just came home. Everyone is very friendly. The rooms are a great value. Truly a suite. There is a good restaurant located next door, and the complimentary breakfast is always a treat. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in the Baltimore/Washington area.

Very nice property

Stayed here on business trip x1 night. Impressed with location especially walking to local food eateries. Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast offerings were spot on delish. I would return should the price be in our company's range. thank you.

Thanks for an even greater weekend!

This hotel surprised me because it's tucked away in suburban area of the city. My family stayed here because we had a sports tournament in the area for the weekend. The Hotel is in a location next to several restaurants including a one minute walk across the parking lot for pizza and sandwiches.

The rooms are modern with a sitting area, wet bar, separate bathroom from the shower area. It was spacious, clean and modern.

The staff were great from checking in to maid service. Even gave us a free wine bottle opener on request. Also, great Paul Mitchell bath products are supplied.

Complimentary breakfast and coffee in an area that has light up tables and surroundings.

This hotel is well worth the stay and within a normal budget range. Glad we picked this hotel!
