The room layout is MUCH BETTER!! Love the walk in shower.
Mini-refrigerator is small but fine for a few nights. Only negative is the in room microwave is VERY small. A full size bag of popcorn is to big to allow it to rotate. Thus it gets stuck and will burn.More

Very nice property: quiet, very friendly and helpful staff, excellently located near major highway node, very conveniently close to a variety of good restaurants. An excellent choice for business travels. During weekends they offer very good rates, and this has been noticed :-). Gym is small but efficient (two treadmills, one stepper, and one bike equipment), pool is nice.
One small negative note: breakfast hours for holidays are the same as for regular work days.

I found the rooms at SpringHill Suites in Columbia, MD very clean. The rooms had ample room with a "living area" separated from the sleeping area with a desk with a divider. The decor of the room was a little sterile. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good. There was not much parking since it shared a parking lot with the Hampton Inn next door.

I don't typically provide reviews but my experience was so exceptional I was compelled to indicate the following: "we recently attended a family reunion and the lodging accommodations were at the Spring-Hill Suites....excellent decision!" From check-in through check-out staff was incredible...EXTREMELY professional, kind, generous, and accommodating. The premises were very clean....nice, spacious rooms & hospitable cleaning staff. The complimentary breakfast was fresh, tasty, and plentiful.
Kudos to SpringHill Suites for making our family reunion even more memorable! I would NOT hesitate to stay at SpringHill Suites again, & again, & again.... :-)
BTW - I must add(very important in cust. svc): there was NEVER A moment interacting with ANY staff that they didn't smile and seem genuinely sincere.

This was a nice, clean, friendly hotel. It was well located and had some nice eating and shopping options within a mile of the property. I liked the arrangement of the room with the seating area nicely separated from the sleeping area. We had family staying in the same hotel so it made it nice to have an area to chat rather than sitting on the bed. One minor issue was the fact that the cooling unit was within 3 feet of the edge of the bed. It was very uncomfortable for the person who was sleeping on that side because they had the fan blowing on them. Breakfast offerings were plentiful with a good variety. I would recommend this property for travelers coming to this area.

Stayed here on our recent visit to the Columbia area on our way to Washington, D.C. A most welcoming staff and a great experience. The accommodations are great and the free breakfast was wonderful. Very convenient to restaurants and easy access to I-95. Will definitely plan to stay here on our next trip to the area.
