We chose to stay outside of Washington DC and take the Metrorail into the city each day to avoid having to find a parking place in DC. This hotel was just perfect for that. It is about a 5 minute drive to the College Park-University of Maryland Metrorail station, it is brand new, and the staff at the hotel are very courteous and professional.
The room had 2 queen sized beds, was very open and was reasonably priced. Our stay was wonderful.
One word of caution- There are not enough parking spaces for all of the rooms in this hotel and if you arrive later in the evening there is a possibility that all of the parking spaces on site will be occupied. You can just go into the hotel desk and they will give you a parking permit for the adjacent street. Do not double park because we were blocked in the first night we were there by someone who didn't follow the procedure and the hotel clerk had to go up to the other patron's room, get his keys, and move his vehicle from in front of ours. It was only a minor inconvenience that was handled well by the hotel staff.

Room tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel may be quieter because the front faces Route 1 and there is a fire station about a block away so there is quite a bit of emergency traffic on Route 1.

Hotel was clean and convenient to U of Maryland. Parking is a problem if get back to hotel too late at night. Many places to eat in area. Morning breakfast is adequate. Would return to this hotel next time in area.

Very comfortable room for 3, Fridge and micro included. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom which I find lacking in a lot of hotels. 3 minutes to college with eateries available in walking distance. Good bargain.

This was a very nice clean room. My husband and I and our 2 grand daughters stayed here while going to the national zoo. Nice room and only about 25 min to the zoo. Staff was very pleasant. Owner checked us in and was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Had heard from other that there weren't great option right near U. of Maryland campus (visiting with our son, a prospective student). This hotel just opened a couple of months ago ... right down the street from the entrance to campus (easy walk if you are so inclined). Very clean room (and entire hotel), good size (we had a king-size bed with sofa bed), large tv ... bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast was just ok (some bagels/muffins, a couple of choices of cereal and juice/coffee), but fine for our purposes. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting College Park.
