Review of Le Pain Quotidien

Le Pain Quotidien
Ranked #10 of 34 Restaurants in Chevy Chase
Description: We're a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means "the daily bread" in French, and like our name suggests, we're bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts. At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That's why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you'll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.

LPQ's are very similar, yet their atmospheres vary based on the location. I like this one and the one in Bethesda because they are situated in very vibrant locations - consistent with the vibe.

A smile along with warm welcome, samplings and table visits to check the guest satisfaction made my visit magnificent. The food is obviously made with attention to detail. I suggest to try everything from the menu, I suggest you to pair it with this amazing watermelon cooler. It seems my third time happy to discover this place.

Visited here while out for a walk. The food was healthy and good portions. Sandwiches and salads could be shared. Fig and ricotta sandwich was very good. Mint lemonade was refreshing. The prices are typical for the area. Service was good. It was more laud back than many places so do not be in a big hurry. Was nit a problem for us.

Very nice little corner place, the service is very good, the waiter gave us all the time we needed, we were six, they had great glutten free bread, and we had all sorts of fruit, eggs, bacon and pan cooked egg and great coffee

We stopped by for an afternoon lunch. We were able to sit outside on the plaza. The scene is not too bad. The wait staff was helpful. We ordered the Croque monsieur and Quiche Lorraine. The Croque was over toasted and had Rosemary sprinkled in the bechamel sauce and left an aftertaste. The quiche was small (see picture). Also, the salads had little to no dressing - we had to ask for it. For the cost, we recommend not getting the quiche. If you have other options while in Chevy Chase, go there.
