There was no notice that construction was taking place. Our microwave was missing the glass plate. Our TV was missing channels. We called for service. They said they would send someone up. They never showed. There was hairs on our sheets that wasn't ours. Continental breakfast was cold, sausage wasn't done. Milk was warm.

We are working hard at completing our exciting enhancement and will be done within the next weeks. We apologize that the construction notice was not prominent on the site you used, I have verified, it is listed on this site under amenities, our direct hotel website and several other 3rd party pages where we can.

Rest assured as our main priority is our customers and their comfort, these items you mentioned will be addressed quickly with the manager. I am sorry to hear of your disappointment in your stay and that in its current condition, we were not the right fit for your travel needs. We can only ask that you consider another stay once our renovations are complete.

They are transforming this hotel into a Wyndham Garden inn. Outside of hotel was under huge renovations with construction vehicles everywhere. The Elevator was scary small and got stuck twice.. BUT.. The rooms were gorgoeus.. I was only in town for a day to attend a funeral but I was shocked at how nice the rooms were. The bathroom was awesome also. We did try the breakfast and it was really good. Other than the construction going on and the scary elevator, Everything else was good. Request room in the front because I was on the back and traffic noise was awful .

Room Tip: Ask for room away from traffic

Dear bookacid; Thank you so much for the great feedback on our newly remodeled guestrooms and bath. We are pleased to hear that the new guestroom and breakfast exceeded your expectations. We do apologize for the inconvenience with the elevator, we are working on this and hope to have this issue resolved shortly. We are very excited to be changing to the Wyndham Garden Hotel Washington DC North in the next month or so and appreciate you being our guests during this last phase our renovations.
