Large portions, fresh food, just fried and oversalted. Would not return. Good view if you can get a table outside.

Nice cozy place. Great view of Chester River and boats... Food is average and 2 dishes ordered for lunch were just warm, not hot...Service so so maybe because there was a heavy lunch crowd there. Actually, I'd go there again but for some brews and may a cold appetizer.

It's hard not to want to eat here - the only place on the water in Chestertown, so it has a fabulous view. We decided to just order some appetizers to see how things went, and we stopped there. The tomato/mozzarella salad was a huge portion and had beautiful ripe tomatoes on the plate - one bite told us the plate had spent most of the day in the refrigerator as the tomatoes were ice cold. The fried calamari was better, but just barely - too salty and rubbery rather than tender. Service was pleasant and efficient and the prices were good. It's just a crime against nature to put August tomatoes on ice.

This restaurant, on the banks of the Chester River, has a superb view from the windows and the balcony. On a recent visit, the food was really good and all of our party of seven enjoyed thier meal.
