We went there for our anniversary, and it did not disappoint! Everything, the food, the service, the atmosphere, was wonderful. It is a perfect spot for a special occasion, or when you just need a really great meal. Wonderful, fresh seafood, great appetizers, and it is nice without being stuffy or pretentious. We will be going back!

I was looking for a good place to watch fireworks and my girlfriend found that Chesapeake City was having some, so we went there. I tried to find a close parking spot and ended up using the Valet parking at the Chesapeake Inn.
They had an enormous deck facing the marina. The deck is actually two levels, the upper part is accessed from the indoor restaurant.
Our favorite part of the deck though, was the Tiki bar at the left end of the deck.
We had dinner and drinks at a bar height counter over looking the water.
The food was great, the service was top notch.
We had an excellent view of the fireworks.
The Crab Pretzel appitizer, in itself is reason enough the visit!
The menu is vast, every one should be able to find a delicious meal.

This is my fourth or fifth trip to the Inn. The food is average, service is responsive, atmosphere is laid back, and the view of the water from the deck makes it all worthwhile. Obviously weekends during the summer months are very busy so I would advise you to get there early. If you can go during the week, better yet.

Our family of 5 ate on the Tiki Bar on a Sunday at 5 PM. There was no wait but the place was filling up quickly. The band was fun to hear and the location by the water is great! We had crab nachos as an appetizer that were so-so...kind of covered in a white sauce that smothered them without a whole lot of crabmeat. Our food (salads & burgers) were good but nothing phenomenal. A fun place to eat for the vibe and location and I'd definitely go back, but not really because of the food. It was good enough, just not great.

A lunch destination halfway between Buck's County and Annapolis, family gathered to celebrate a birthday and visit from a far away daughter. We loved the fried calamari -- some of the best anywhere -- and the lobster sliders were to die for. Salmon, meaty filler free crab cakes, and wonderful crab bisque were hits for everyone. Panko breaded soft shell crab was the only disappointment -- no reason in the world to cover up the wonderful soft shell with heavy breading, even if it is crispy. That needs to change. We sampled a variety of desserts and the creme brulle for the birthday 'boy' came on a plate with Happy Birthday in icing and a candle. A big hit all around. And the young woman who waited on us was delightful and went out of her way to ensure a good dining experience. Only real downside is that the restaurant is on the second floor and it is a lonnnng ramp to navigate for someone in a wheel chair. You need a strong pusher to do it.
