“BIG overstuffed sandwiches!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

We had lunch for three persons as the restaurant hours are M-Sat only from 6AM to 3PM. Breakfasts are huge portions and the sandwiches are monstrous. The hot-pastrami on rye bread with Swiss cheese was so large we had to bring one-half home for another meal....and it was only about $11.00. The restaurant is small and the tables are close together so the noise level can be quite high. Service was very good and attentive. If you have a large appetite, this should satisfy you and the food is good.

“Small but mighty!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2013

It is always a challenge to get into the restaurant and find a seat--especially on a weekend...not because of anything bad--but because it is small and the food is not fast food junk , but well prepared and interesting fare which is presented carefully and takes a little more time. We went to celebrate our son who lives out of state, visiting us. We had omelets: the Popeye -baby spinach, feta, mushrooms, a buttered English muffin and onion/applewood smoked bacon/home fries, and the Chesapeake-lump crab, tomatoes and cheddar cheese and the special breakfast combo: the Pimlico--smoked salmon, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, and sour cream/caviar on top -all presented on an English muffin, all nicely garnished iwth an orange slice and the coffee was kept replentished. Wait people are prompt, cheerful and efficient--I just wish it could expand but then it would probably just mean more people would show up and it would still be crowded! It is cute, clean and the food is always very delicious.

“what a great surprise!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2013

Came here with out of town family because we heard it was a must. We timed it right by arriving on a weekday at 10:30. By 11:00 there was a line out the door! The place is cozy; ok it's small, but comfortable. The wait staff are entertaining and fun. The food is amazing and plentiful and very creative! The only downside is being able to seat everyone. We had planned to come here at another time, but our family group was too large with too many kids for the restaurant. Definitely recommend it and will introduce more folks to it.

Just love the place and the food is excellent! Staff always makes sure I have everything I need. Have never been disappointed. Best strawberry short cake in town.

“Fantastic Lunch!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2012

Small, fast, and mostly fresh. I love the Portabella burger. Have tried to make it at home, but it's better here.
