Perhaps the hotel is outstanding because it is relatively new but I think there is more to it than that. Our first impression was the general appearance-excellent. Then there was the front desk - the people couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful. Our room, a small suite, was immaculate and ready for use. It was quiet and had all the basic ammenities. There is even a small lending library in the lobby.
I had a little trouble figuring out how to adjust the air conditioner so I called the front desk.
They were in the process of sending someone up when my son deciphered the somewhat cryptic instructions. My bad.
The breakfast room was attractive, clean, comfortable and spacious and, most importantly, the food was varied and tasty. tasted fresh-squeezed, two strengths of fresh-brewed coffee were available, and the hot dishes were somewhat different both days.
I'm old--fashioned, I expect competence in all things. Frequently, this is not the case but not this time - high marks in all areas( Including the price - $150/day including taxes for a Suite!!!)More
