This restaurant has closed and become something else - it isn't Inn at Brookeville Farms anymore! It closed for several months and is a whole new place.

Had been there before for different things over the years. They’ve made some renevations but not with the staff and the quality of the food. Over priced and small portions. I heard it has changed hands and it is obvious, our family doctor is having his daughters wedding there and we will be attending. We will see if anything is different.

This is a beautiful venue for an intimate dinner for two or a large event such as a wedding, party, etc. We had our wedding dinner here and our guests loved it. The decorations are beautiful and the food is amazing. I've never had a steak as tender as I have here. The chef enjoys putting his own touch on every dish.

Beautiful building and grounds. Once you enter the story takes a turn for the worst. We had to wait to be seated (not crowded). We waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the table. The menu was a joke and the prices were also. 2 minutes later we were back in the car looking for somewhere else to calm down and enjoy a nice meal.

I recently went to the Inn with a group of five for lunch from my office for a Christmas celebration. The only positive thing I can say is that the building is quaint and attractively decorated, in a grandma's house sort of way.
When the menus came, we all stared at each other in surprise. My boss tried to open the menu to see the rest of it. But there was no rest of it. There were five entrees and six appetizers, that was the whole menu. There was also no description other than a soy glazed lime salmon, no sides listed, etc. The side salads were $12 each. When we asked the waitress what came with the entrees, she said "chef's choice." She had to go back and ask what the sides were. Really, you have five entrees and you can't remember mashed potatoes and vegetable medley?
The salads and soup came and there was no bread. We asked for bread, and the waitress said it was "on request." Ok, we want some. Then she said it would take a few minutes. I guess it did take a few minutes to unwrap the mushy white bread dinner rolls from the plastic bag. The entrees were adequate. Then we asked about desserts. The answer was "apple pie and pumpkin pie." We all stared at each other again. Two people ordered dessert and it appeared to be a convenience frozen item.
The menu was very limited and there was no creativity. I have been to the Inn years ago for special events, and the food and presentation was tasty and creative.
There were several certificates in the lobby from 2006 and 2007 but nothing any more recent. This place has gone downhill and is often not even open. There were one or more group events going on at the same time we were there. It appears that the menu was printed based upon these groups' choices, so no one had to make additional food.
There were five of us. Each of us ordered either soup or salad, plus an entrée. Two ordered desserts. No one drank alcoholic beverages. The total before tip was $215 for five people. For this price, I would expect a very creative menu, delicious food and polished service. We received none of that.
