“A bit of Paris France in Bethesda”
Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

Met here with a friend for dinner and enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food. Menu is typically Francais Bistro, to include steak and pomme frites, as well as salads a la Francais (add the poached egg and ham!). Nice bar at the entrance and featured a small jazz set on the Thursday evening we met. Only issue is noise, most US restaurants have the high ceilings and poor noise mitigation, but recommend this as a place to spend with friends.

“Loved it”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

Was here for dinner, service and environment was excellent and the food even better. I ordered the steak with butter and spinach side and when it arrived I admit I wondered if I made the wrong choice. The steak is extremely thin which usually means overcooked and tough. Not in this case, it was served medium as asked and couldn't have been more tender or flavorful. The onion soup was fantastic as was the house bread; however, I didn't much care for the dinner salad. Enjoy!

“A perennial treat”
Reviewed December 21, 2012

This is always a treat; sometimes a bit noisy, but the exceptional food, value and service makes up for that.

“Great After Movie Restaurant”
Reviewed December 18, 2012

Usual food, limited menu, high costs and slow service characterize this wanabe French restaurant. Many more interesting restaurants are within a two minute walk
