“Relaxing place to be”

We stayed in the Harborcrest building which is the York Harbor Inn's pet friendly building. Our room was huge, with a beautiful fireplace and fantastic jacuzzi tub. It was extremely clean. It is such a treat to find a great place to stay with our dog. They even had a dog bed and bowls set up in the room! Continental breakfast is set up in the kitchen; fruit, hot/cold cereal, fresh baked goods. A keurig was available in the kitchen at all times with a variety of K-cups. Staff was wonderful. We can't wait to return, we go to Maine a lot, this is our new place.

Experience staying at an inn of yesteryear! We had a room on the second floor, nestled above the reception area, complete with small balcony overlooking the York Harbor. Each room in the building is unique – we had a tour of several, each tastefully decorated. We’ve eaten here many times, but this was our first overnight stay. Make sure you come down in the morning for their breakfast buffet. Everything is prepared on-site – granola, muffins and more. They even have their own honey from hives on their property.

Room Tip: We had room 12 which has a balcony and overlooks York Harbor.

First time at the Inn. For a close, nearby overnight this was perfect. Room's clean , rooms with character . Check in and and head out...plenty of things to do or see . Head over to the outlets oir the many antique shops in the area. Downstairs Pub with full menu and entertainment. Lovely continental breakfast in the morning. Looking forward to returning in th future.

My boyfriend and I traveled to Maine for a weekend in March and I happened to find this little gem online. We got a real deal on the room because of the time of year (only $99 a night for a luxury room!). Although the room was small and the building was slightly creepy--we stayed on the second floor of the Yorkshire building--it was overall comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. Couldn't access the Wifi, but I'm not very tech-savvy. Although the doors to the building didn't lock at night, the area and location felt very safe to me. The view is spectacular; I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer!
We received a $20 credit on dinner at the onsite Ship's Cellar Pub, which was cozy and affordable. We shared the artichoke dip to start and I had the shrimp alfredo. The waiter was friendly and attentive, so the meal was overall a pleasant experience.
I had a wonderful time and would definitely go back again!

We stayed at the Chapman Cottage from 3/18 through 3/20. What a great addition to the Inn this is! We stayed in room 602 which had a king bed, fireplace and an oversized bath with 2 person jacuzzi and separate shower and a fireplace. We were the only couple in the cottage both nights, but we came down each morning to a great breakfast of cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, coffee and juice!
We have stayed at the inn in other buildings in the past, but this has become our favorite! The resident innkeeper, Paul is fabulous! He greeted us each morning for breakfast(even though it was his day off) and chatted with us while we ate. Although we were there during a snowstorm, we still had a fabulous time and were able to kickback and relax! Can't wait to come back when it's a little warmer!

We had a gift certificate and only one night for an anniversary celebration. Our room was on the first level in the Harbor Hill building. It was very nicely appointed. At this time of year, there is an ocean view. But the busy street, just yards from the picture window, makes it a less desirable room . The second level would be a better choice if available.
A great continental breakfast was served in the lounge of this building. I was pleased the fire place was aglow. We chose to walk to the main inn for the dining room setting and a better view.
Over the years, we have had many wonderful evenings and meals at the cellar pub. It is very popular with the locals and fills up early. The food and atmosphere are terrific. Often, there are happy hour specials and entertainment at least on Fridays.
On this trip, we dined at the bar in the upstairs dining room. The guitarist Woody had a mellow sound and a great selection of
Tunes. His vibe made it a memorable evening . I should also mention the friendly helpfulness of concierge Paul. He made several phone calls to find a solution to a small problem.

We stayed this weekend on their winter deal, and upgraded to a "luxury" room. I was apprehensive at first because when I first called to inquire about the deal, the woman on the phone was a little gruff. When I called back to book, she was much nicer. With snow headed to Maine, I even called the day before to inquire about their rescheduling/cancellation policy and Jan on the phone was so pleasant and offered a ton of options. We decided to still come up, and our room at the Harbor Crest was fantastic. So clean, cozy, nicely maintained and did I mention clean? The Jacuzzi bath tub, gas fireplace, separate sitting room and private porch were so perfect. The only drawback was that the rooms aren't terribly soundproof, and we could hear our neighbors talking (not loudly), and I'm sure the reverse was true. Dinner at the main inn was delicious, even though they forgot our salad, and our server was friendly. Breakfast the next morning was great--pastries, breads, cereal, yogurt, fruit and even trays to bring it up to your room to enjoy it by the fire. A great place to stay with a lovely atmosphere--even in the slow season of winter!
