Lovely home and gardens, clean, quiet. The owners are not intrusive but are very helpful. The room was small, but we had the 2nd floor to ourselves, which made up for that. Food was great, we will go back soon.

What a beautiful Inn. Clearly the inn keepers Margie and Doug love what they do. The gardens and patio are charming. The house is decorated with stately antiques and comfortable seating areas. Margie's baked goods are to die for, cookies in the afternoon and cake or muffins in the morning. Our favorite breakfast was the challah French toast with loads of fresh Maine blueberries and the homemade granola with yogurt and fresh fruit. Our room was special, with private patio and lovely a lovely seating area. Their attention to detail is evident. We are looking forward to returning next summer.

My sister and I had a marvelous time. Doug and Marge are the perfect hosts. The cottage is beautifully decorated. The details such as the little soaps and the night light in the bathrooms, the special books in Rachael's room , the private patio capture the image that we had of Maine. A special note to Marge's cooking ...her cookies left by the front door in the evening were sinful and the muffins in the morning unforgettable . By the way, Marge and Doug were so kind that they send us home with some of their granola and extra muffins for the trip.

Room Tip: There are only three rooms. We stayed in Rachel's room which has a private patio and a small sep...

If you are looking for a bright and sunny room to wake up in with flowers all around and your own patio to have a wonderful home cooked breakfast, choose the Morning Glory Inn. We have been here several times and our favorite room is Rachel's Room, named for Rachel Carson. Nice sitting area and private patio. Listen to the silence or listen to the birds! This place is so relaxing and beautiful! When you are ready to leave your room, you can head to York beach or Ogunquit and walk Marginal Way. What beauty you will find on this Maine coast! A must see experience for those who enjoy the good life!

We recently stayed 2 wonderful nights at the Morning Glory Inn. Margie and Doug were very friendly hosts and we enjoyed visiting them during our stay. What an incredible location – so peaceful yet so close to everything in the York area. Our room, Rachel's Suite, was so fresh and cozy and we loved listening to the wildlife on our own little porch. Margie’s breakfasts were wonderful. I especially liked her homemade granola. If you’re looking for some peace and quiet in the York are then this is the place to stay.

We’ve been going to the Morning Glory for the past 4 years and we love it. Margie and Doug, the new owners of the Inn, have done a great job of putting their stamp on the Morning Glory. We loved the fact that coffee, hot water with different available teas, and treats that Margie baked are available at 7 AM, and breakfast starts at 8:30. The individual breakfasts are great, and they make their own granola, which is yummy. We stayed in the Heron room with the big soaker tub, king bed, and the shower is big enough for two. Coming back to the Inn in the evening we always found some yummy treat awaiting us, again baked by Margie. If you’re out for lunch or dinner try Chauncey Creek Lobster Pier, which is a short drive from the Inn. The food and atmosphere are great and is a BYOB (Bring your own bottle). Can’t wait to come back for another visit. Thanks Margie & Doug for a great visit.

Room Tip: The Heron room with the big soaker tub, king bed, and the shower is big enough for two.
