Menu has some routine items but also features specials made from their own products. Well worth checking out.

Great if you are in the mood for a $10 bottle of jelly.

This is a busy busy place at lunch time, but we decided to make a go of it anyway. I had a chicken salad wrap, which was delicious, and my friend had a fresh vegetable "tuscan" sandwich that came with fresh mozz, tomato, cucs, and other fresh herbs. The prices were just about average for most of the menu items - although the Lobster Roll was a staggering 18.00 (we went to Bob's Clam Hut for that). Overall, a great lunch and we would definitely consider returning.

I have been coming to Maine for the past 7 years and I must stop at Stonewall Kitchen at least once per visit! It is conveniently located (right off I-95/Maine Tnpk at exit 7) and it is great. Stonewall Kitchen makes their own jams, jellies, marinades, mustards, pancake mixes, baking mixes, etc. They started with jam and now have extended their product line to all of the above and beyond. They have samples available of all products and many kitchen/houseware items. The cafe itself is a counter where you can order breakfast or lunch and then it is brought to your table. The items vary from a $2.95 side salad or pastry to a $25 dollar entree salad or lobster BLT. It can get pricey pretty fast for lunch, especially if you like lobster and/or add a bottle of wine. But to me it is worth it. The quality of the food is excellent and I always find some new jam or mustard that I need to try. Their pancake mix is the only one my family likes (spoiled brats!) and comes in plain, chocolate, pumpkin, apple cinnamon, etc. And my favorite salad dressing is the Cilantro Lime. Yum!

Also if you are a fan of Ina Garten (former owner of the Barefoot Contessa in the Hamptons), they now carry her products and cookbooks as well.

The cafe gets crowded at lunchtime and on the weekends, especially in the summer, but I have always been able to find a table. Don't miss it!
