Two couples went on a Saturday night, and although it was crowded, we were comfortably seated within ten minutes. While leisurely sipping our drinks, our server, Noelle, was able to recommend the special, turkey kabobs, prime rib tips, and their fresh, gluten-free baked haddock with lemon or butter. Salad is family style and endless. All dressings and breads are home made. It was a lovely night at a place where you can get a sandwich, a lobster, or a soup-to-nuts meal. Did I mention the desserts . . . . . we've been going there for so long that we forget to tell others how nice it is!

I had the twin lobster special for under $20. The service was great! The lobsters were done perfectly. I'd go back often if I didn't live so far away!

During our weeklong trip to Maine we ate there twice. Our servers were both very attentive. Bread on table was hearty and delicious. Our families we dined there with enjoyed the original barn structure inside. It is quiet and a great place to have a good seafood meal and actually hear your table conversation. We'll be back!

We ate two lobsters rolls from Lobster in the Rough (behind The Barn) today. The lobster was pretty tough and chewy. We were very disappointed. We ate lobster rolls here two years ago and they were good. But we probably won't go back in the future.

This place is a local haven. Rustic and fun, all of the drinks are served in plastic cups. If you save your drink receipts you can earn free appetizers. The food is mediocre- nothing special but it gets the job done for sure. There is often live music which is fun and they start the fire pits on cold nights.
