Owner description: You can smell the wafting of the sweet preserves from the parking lot or maybe it's ginger for one of the sauces. This is home for Stonewall Kitchen. Located just off 1-95 on Coastal Route 1-A in York, Maine are the: Home Offices, Production Facility, Company Store & Cafe and Cooking School. The welcoming environment of our Company Store is exemplified in the friendly staff ready to greet you, offer you samples of any of our specialty food items or assist you in picking out the ideal gift. The store features our entire line of specialty foods plus useful kitchen gadgets, cookware, tableware and home decor. Our demonstration kitchen is often cooking up something delicious to taste and is on-hand to share recipes and food for thought with you.

Most folks are aware of Stonewall Kitchen condiment and preserve products; they are outstanding.
Many are not aware it is just off the primary tourist route to and from Maine, at York.
This is the main location, a factory (with lessons), a wonderful airy shop, and nice cafe, all housed in a beautiful new stone structure. They put out samples of perhaps 1/3 of the product line, and you can ask for samples of others. You won't save much money, but you can really pick out your favorites. We did not eat in the cafe, but can vouch for the coffee.

We love shopping at Stonewall Kitchen. They have a very large selection of food products to purchase. We usually buy their jams, marinades for bbqing, and mixes for baking. You can sample many of their products. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Stonewall Kitchen is like King Arthur Flour (the store), Williams Sonoma and LL Bean combined into a great selection of treats and kitchen/home needs. Plenty of parking, large store, fabulous selections. It is pricey though, but a wonderful store. They have cooking classes too. There's a bakery there too with many naughty items to choose. Helpful staff, bathrooms, garden and pet sections too. Even our teenage daughter wants to go back on our next trip to Maine. It's just North of the outlet stores in Kittery.

This was a stop on our bus tour to Maine. We were only there for one hour but what a wonderful stop. You may watch products being canned. Taste many of the company offerings. Eat at the on site resturant or if time permits sign up for a cooking class. This was a wonderful stop.

We stopped at Stonewall Kitchen on our way home from Maine. After trying many samples, I bought a few sauces, cheese, and crackers. I am a foodie and the place was amazing. I could spend an entire day in there! I would like to go back in the future and take one of their cooking classes. We had their Maple Glaze on a pork tenderloin for dinner last night and it was delicious.
