Owner description: Considered to be the "most photographed" lighthouse, this 41-foot conical tower sits on the summit of Cape Neddick Bubble, a small offshore rocky islet, looking proudly over the Atlantic.

'nuff said. Go see it, and bring your camera.

Be advised that the water is kuh-hold, though. That doesn't seem to stop people from swimming, but I was not one of those people.

Also, you can't go into the lighthouse, but that doesn't stop it from being beautiful.

Thank vort

If you are anywhere near this amazing place, you MUST go. It is so beautiful, it is almost surreal. I have been here in all sorts of weather, and I have never failed to be impressed. You will always remember Nubble Light.

Incredible Maine coastal destination. It is fun to share a picnic on the rocks opposite the lighthouse.

Great lighthouse on a little island just off the Maine coast, next to a family oriented beach (Long Sands Beach), just outside the town of York. Great photo op for the classic New England coast scene!

There are many drivers who think that the narrow winding road to the Cape Neddick Lighthouse is a racetrack! It is April 28, 2013 and my neighbor's mailbox has been mowed down by a fast moving vehicle and a flower garden on my own property has been hit by a car that could not stop before hitting the garden. As the summer season progresses, there will be more and more people who want to visit the lighthouse. Not only will there be motorized vehicles, there will be mothers with babies, strollers, joggers, walkers and senior citizens all wanting to enjoy the road to the lighthouse, the lighthouse, and Sohier Park. If you are a visitor to this area and you are driving a car, truck, or motorcycle....PLEASE SLOW DOWN!!! THE ROAD IS NOT A RACETRACK!
