Owner description: Considered to be the "most photographed" lighthouse, this 41-foot conical tower sits on the summit of Cape Neddick Bubble, a small offshore rocky islet, looking proudly over the Atlantic.

My family and I are often in the area and we make sure to stop by every time. This lighhouse is amazing at any time of the year but my favorite is right after a snowfall. Make sure you try to find the geocache that is in the area.

This iconic lighthouse is quite possibly the most photographed one in Maine. It's hard to take a bad shot, but it's challenging to take one that's at all unique. I recommend wearing sturdy shoes and going out on the rocks - taking all precautions to stay safe, of course! Get up early, stay up late, and don't shy away if the weather's nippy, etc. Also, turn your back on the lighthouse or look down by your feet. I got some of my best shots that way.

I have visited this lighthouse numerous times and always enjoy going there. It's a photographer's dream and it has so many different angles depending on the time of day you visit. Early morning, foggy mornings, dark and stormy days (not too often though). You cannot go across to the lighthouse but it's still nice to see. There is a restaurant called Fox's Lobster House there but only open during "peak season" April til October...check their website for hours and days. During Christmas they light up the lighthouse and Santa comes around. Bring your camera's to remember a sweet, short stop on your vacation!

It is a pretty lighthouse but you cant do much there except take a picture then go on to the next lighthouse.

The rocky shoreline and pristine condition of the lighthouse make it a must to see if you are in this area. Great for photos.
