This is a wonderful B&B and Paul and Mel are highly professional and delightful hosts. We were extremely lucky to find Snow Squall as we'd had a wet and windy drive through Maine. Within minutes we were welcomed into the warmth of this lovely house and everything was transformed!
Decor, bedrooms, bathrooms and the breakfast were absolutely delightful and we'd love to go back some other time.

Thankfully, I was lucky enough to cycle along - and spot this marvelous Bed & Breakfast in the great little village of Wiscasset. The owner Paul recognized my British accent as I enquired into the price & pinpointed my hometown back in England. This guy is great. Introducing me to Mel - his beautiful wife, they made me a cup of tea & welcomed me into their Inn. This place is a must. Its just perfect. From the location - to the grounds, the high finish interior the superior comfort, immaculate cleanliness....I could go on. I will. Paul is a professional Chef. And it shows. I had the most gorgeous breakfast ( see photo ). The only problem with this place is that you don't want to leave. I can not praise it enough.
100% perfection.

Room Tip: I personally had the exquisite Ocean Herald room. I imagine every room to be as good. You can't...

This place is great!!!
We arrived very late on a Friday and the folks were welcoming and helped us get settled. Breakfast was so fresh. Rooms are clean. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was a little small, but still ok!!!
Definitely staying there again!!!

We had only one night at this lovely place. It was hard to leave. Clean with tasteful decor, breakfast prepared by chef and owner Paul (yum!). Generous rooms (larger than other B+B's we have stayed in). Our room faced the road and it was a bit noisy toward the morning but the night was quiet. Not recommended for people who have a hard time climbing stairs though. There are steep stairs to negotiate.

Room Tip: There might be a room on the main floor too for those, who cannot climb steep stairs. It is worth in...

We arrived at tiny Wiscasset and found this wonderful B&B. Paul was an amazing host.Rrelaxed and welcoming and lots to share. The house is not only beautiful but it is spotless. The room was big and comforable. Huge bed, perfect bathroom. Lots of places to sit around and read n relax. An breakfast was amazing. They also have daily yoga sessions. I more than recommend Snow Squall.

Room Tip: The website has the room details. All wonderful.

This is the kind of place with chocolates at the entrance and home made cookies to go with the great tea or coffee you can make after a wonderful day pursuing the brilliant suggestions of the innkeeper. Melanie and Paul are wonderful people and they create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and accepted. We enjoyed our room, the breakfasts were wonderful, and the hosts and other guests feel like old friends. You can't buy this kind of hospitality.

We chose the Snow Squall B & B for its location, before we realized that it was owned by such accommodating and welcoming innkeepers. Their recommendations for meals and sightseeing locations were on target with our interests. Breakfast was prompt and beautifully presented. Dietary restrictions were taken into consideration each day.
Paul and Melanie certainly added to making our first trip to the state of Maine memorable and we hope to return.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms are a little more difficult to reach because of steep steps. We knew ahead of time...
