“Fun Way to Spend the Afternoon”
Reviewed September 12, 2011

Monkey C Monkey Do was a fun afternoon. We had seen it on the way down to the Maine Coast and decided to try it. It was a little bit pricey (~$40 per person), however the family rate made it much more reasonable (~$20 per person).

They take safety very seriously and made sure we all knew what we were doing before they let us out on the course. It was really a great team-building activity - you have to work very closely with your partner. The whole experience was really great for our group.

Everyone's skill level varied, but we all had fun trying. I saw some smaller kids fly through the course in no time at all! It definitely took me a bit longer. :) The courses do get progressively more challenging, and once you begin a level, you have to finish it. The staff was a great help and would talk you through the obstacles, but you do have to finish what you start - there's no quick escape.

They take tons of pictures for you and you can view them online, which is great. Overall, it was a fun way to spend a summer Maine afternoon!

“A fun activity and good exercise”
Reviewed August 24, 2011

We had a lot of fun. We were on the course for a little more than 2 1/2 hours and did a lot of climbing and running around. There were parts that were a little challenging and if someone in your group is not comfortable with heights this is not the place for you. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. Be sure to call ahead and make for a reservation.
It was a little pricey for what it was. If it was $85 for 3 people for only a few hours is a little much. It can get very busy which means you are waiting a long time for the people in front of you to move through a section.

“Terrific Adventure!”
Reviewed July 16, 2011

My husband and I stopped here after seeing the adventure course as we drove by on Route 1. We made a reservation to return the next day, and we had a terrific time! The course is very fun and exciting for all ages, and the staff is very safety conscious. We navigated tight ropes and rope challenges from three stories above ground. They have three levels of adventures, including two ziplines and a massive "swing". We had a terrific time and will definitely come back on our next visit to Maine!

“Exciting 10th Birthday for the little peep”
Reviewed June 25, 2011

Got clued into Monkey C Monkey Do from another TA post. On the way back from Bar Harbor to Boston it was top on the list for our little Peep to spend her 10th B-day. Zip lining, bridges, and other activites all in a big square. You pay for 2 hours and then get to do it over and over and over again. The owner even offered to have me go for free to try it out and if I did not like it I would not have to pay. I preferred to stay on firm ground but the teen and other adult peep had a great time. One down side. We went without reservations. Right before us was a very large group. This took a long time for them to get set up and showed literally "the ropes" We were in a hurry to catch a flight or I would have gone back when it was not crowded. I would make sure there are no large groups in front of you or you will spend some time waiting for them. Otherwise it was a fun way to spend a few hours and a B-day.
