“Great gourmet and bake shop on Maine Coast”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

We were despairing of finding some good baked goods during our trip to Maine. Fortunately, we found Treats where we sat at the community table and ate delicious muffins and scones, along with our lattes. What a lovely shop -- great cheese and wine selection. We really wanted that berry pie but, alas, were heading on for a day of sailing. But, we know where to go to satisfy our cravings next time in Maine.

“Delicious and lovely”
Reviewed June 5, 2012

We went to Treats on Sunday morning and were instantly charmed by the beautiful space and the enviable antique furnishings, but within minutes we'd gathered together not only a delicious breakfast--strong coffee, homemade bialys, sticky buns and pain aux raisins--but snacks for the road and some nice wine and Maine-brewed beer to take home. Loved the big wooden table in back where several people were enjoying the Sunday paper and coffee.

“Small gourmet market and bakery, leaves the foodie quite satisfied”

Wonderful bakery, the bread is fantastic. We enjoyed lunch here several times, sandwiches were delicious, great variety, and the cheese counter is phenomenal. Well worth the trip.

“A guilty pleasure”
Reviewed May 21, 2012

What a great place. I am happy I discovered this place by accident. Went in for a coffee and now come back regularly (perhaps too regularly) for treats. Fresh frittata and quiche daily, daily variety muffins, interesting sandwiches, great wine selection, daily made bread-simply wonderful.

“Great Sandwiches and Baked Goods”
Reviewed May 2, 2012

This is an excellent place to stop for a quick bite in Wiscasset. The sandwiches are impressive and filled with all sorts of fresh local ingredients. The soups are also very tasty. On the day I dined, they offered lentil and mushroom soups and both were equally good. The beet and goat cheese wrap is also very good. Don't ignore the beautiful breads and baked goodies. They are definitely in the "worth the calories" category.
