Free shuttle bus around the peninsula will bring you here. Picnic while you hear the ocean roar and walking the rocks. Nearby is a New campground 2015 with electric and water. Large sites, flat and well spread out. Clean bath houses friendly staff and volunteers.

Once you have seen the fantastic views and rock formations at Schoodic Point, don’t miss taking some of the great trails. Park at the BlueBerry Hill lot and take a .7 mile flat hike to the head of the trail to Schoodic Head. It is about a mile up to the Head, for great views and a very strenuous hike. We elected to take the short trail (.4 mile) down the north face of Schoodic Head. It is not for the faint of heart...many areas of scrambling down the rocks. Be careful on the many roots...when wet, they are also very slippery.

This is a great place for walking on the granite rocks, looking in tide pools, and watching the surf pound against the rocks. The spray seems higher at times than Thunder Hole. If it's foggy, it's still wonderful.

The scenery along the one way drive to the point is phenomenally beautiful with plenty of places to pull over to get a better view. Once you get to the point there is parking, rest rooms and more 8ncredible views along with the opportunity to get close to the water by climbing on.the rocks. Which are not difficult to navigate

Spent one day exploring the Schoodic Point and Peninsula. The crashing waves, the rock formations and the view were spectacular. We hiked to the peak and were greeted by a view well worth the uphill climb.
Wherever you stopped was another wonder vista. We drove our own car and also uses the shuttle bus.Wished we had had another day to explore tis place.
