“What a treat”
Reviewed September 20, 2012 via mobile

We were refered by the hotel staff. A 10 minute drive for a great meal. The old Bass Shoe Factory that closed in the '80s. Renovated and housing a couple of businesses. The restaurant is in the lower level. Finished the old brick and block walls. We had a great waiter, helped us with the menu and made a couple good recommendations. The food was fabulous, a couple of us had a salad and an appetizer, it was plenty. Cioppino was the best I every had. It is like a seafood stew. Not overly priced. Highly recommended. Would go here if I wad thru here again.

“Amazing Food!”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

What a treat. We had no idea that the food was going to be sooo good! I loved the local selection of fresh produce from local farms and other local business. The Gluten Free options were impressive, especially the GF Rasperry Bar- yum!

“Best of the best!”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

Calzolaio's is an owner-on-site family Italian restaurant run by - you guessed it - Italians! There is nothing served here that is not authentic and mouth watering. If you don't see it on the menu, Tom Marcellino will probably cook it up for you to your liking. The drinks are always delicious, and the wait staff is attentive.

“Friendly and quaint”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

The wait staff here were above and beyond friendly and accommodating. They even brought us a game (Spot it) for our 9 year old, which made the meal far more enjoyable.
Food was very good, and plentiful. Our two vegetarians had no problem finding options for them.
We did not have desert (we were too full), but the offerings looked amazing.

“Good value for money”

Nice house wine, good bread, salads and pizza/calzone.
Good service, portions on the large side, could not finish my pizza.
