not far from airport (though cab ride was expensive) or downtown Portland. Clean room, friendly staff. Breakfast so-so (plastic wrapped muffins, for ex). Able to have cot in room with king bed.No elevator-so request ground floor if available.

Room Tip: ground floor (no elevator)

We spent 4 nights (Aug 2012) here. The room was clean, the bathroom clean, the towels and bedding clean. The furniture upholstery is a bit run down, but the bed was fine. The A/C was a new unit with temp control and worked well. The pool and spa were clean with extra towels (the spa sometimes had lots of foam, but that's not unusual; the pool water was sparkling clear) -- we swam 3 times. Breakfast was juices, coffee, tea, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, danish, bagels, bread, fresh waffles and yogurt. The brkfst area was kept clean and supplied by friendly staff. The sound proofing between the rooms was very good. (Our baby grand-daughter was next door and we could not hear her complaints as her parents put her down for naps, etc. On the other hand, a wireless baby monitor did carry a good signal between the two rooms.) The sign in process for wifi was a bit awkward, but it worked well and is free. This was a very good hotel for the price. The 2nd floor rooms are up stairs -- no elevator. It's not 4 star, but it was everything we needed for our stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights In April 2012. When we arrived I had to ask to have the comforter changed as there was something nasty on it. Going through the corridor to our room all you could smell was smoke and what smelled to me like WEED coming from the smoking section of the hotel. Our towels smelled of smoke, but i did not bring this to thier attention. The comforter was enough of an embarrasement to me. I don't like to complain. When they refreshed the towels the next day they had no smoke smell at all. Breakfast was wonderful. Boiled eggs, cereal, bagels juice coffee, milk. I would stay here again. But would go over the room with someone before i paid. The Staff was very nice

Stayed one night. Hotel is in a convenient location to I-95. Staff was friendly and check in was fast. Room was clean but did seem a bit run down.Hotel looks dated and indoor pool water was cloudy. Enjoyed the breakfast which is included. Overall it was an okay stay for one night but does seem expensive for the quality of the hotel especially when no fridge is in the room.

One of worst hotels I've ever been in. There's a reason thats it so cheap. Rooms old and stink and not clean.

My brother and sister-in-law booked this place for the wedding party. We are going to Portland and OOB as the bachelor and bachelorette party. Well my bro said call this number and say your with wedding party and give em your credit card. I did that. They didn't answer right away so I was about to hang up thought i had wrong number. Then the woman couldn't get computer to work so couldnt find our reservations. My sister (in law to be) told me how much it would cost and it cost me WAY more. Haven't even got here and not impressed lol. And after seeing all the post maybe me and my boyfriend will sleep in my car lol

We stayed here and paid a cheap price, but paid for it in comfort and cleanliness. The walls were dirty, the paint was peeling in some places, some lights didn't work and there were numerous stains all over the comforters. The carpet felt sticky with grime. It was completely disgusting. The only redeeming quality was that the staff were extremely friendly and seemed to want to make the best of our trip. They were very helpful and kind. The free breakfast was good as well. What gets me the most is that we stayed at another hotel (Howard Johnson) the night before and paid thirty dollars less, and it was ten times nicer. I was really disappointed.

Room Tip: Don't stay here unless you're really tight on a budget, even then search for somewhere else
