We were there for our anniversary weekend, and Michael and Bill could not do enough to make it a memorable time. Their B&B is so charming, the rooms are very beautiful and very comfortable and very clean. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. I can't say enough about Michael and Bill and their B&B. They treated us as long time friends, and that is the way we fell about them also. We are planning to go back as soon as we can.

This was our first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast and I will never stay in a hotel again when we travel to Maine. We can't say enough about our hosts Michael and Bill. They are charming and funny and make you feel like you are home. Their dog Snickers is just adorable. The rooms are fantastic and the beds are so comfortable. The breakfast is out of this world. So please don't hesitate staying here , you will not be disappointed in any way and at the end of your vacation you be already planning your next trip to the Holiday Guest House...

Bill and Michael are by far the most gracious hosts that we have ever encountered in all our years vacationing in New England, or anywhere else for that matter.
Combined with a beautifully decorated house it makes for an unforgetable holiday experience and we will most certainly return in the near future.

Bill and Michael have definitely spoiled us for all other Bed and Breakfasts, and the charming town of Wells may have spoiled us for the rest of coastal New England!

I write this review from my suite at a resort in Cape Cod, and I don't mind telling you that if my husband and I have said "I wish we were back in Wells" once, we've said it a thousand times. There was just so much more to do in Wells- and absolutely every single person we had an opportunity to speak with was delightful. That brings us back to Bill and Michael...

I believe it is in fact possible that they will one day be celebrated as patron saints of innkeeping! They have a talent for identifying exactly how much or how little interaction you prefer, they are incredibly knowledgeable about what should be included on your "can't miss" list, and their breakfasts are to die for.

While we regret not having allotted more time for our trip to Maine, we can't help but congratulate ourselves on discovering The Holiday Guest House, the charming town of Wells, and meeting Bill, Michael, and Snickers. We have already casually begun our planning for a trip back next year- but have yet to decide if it will be in the spring or fall. The only thing we can imagine making Wells even more perfect is to catch it during the magic of the changing of the leaves.

We stayed here for two nights and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The owners, William and Michael, were excellent hosts. The Holiday Guest House is beautifully decorated. You won't go hungry here as there is quite an assortment of delicious food to eat for breakfast. We wish we could have stayed a lot longer.

This is my third stay at the Guest House and it just gets better each time. Michael & Bill are the most gracious hosts leaving nothing to chance and making sure you feel like one of the family. The well appointed rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated in a way that reflects the historic charm of the property. The morning breakfast was plentiful and very tasty (cooked & prepared by Bill) I look forward to my next stay at the Holiday Guest House.
