Merriland Farm Cafe serves dinner two days a week in the summer (Friday and Saturday). We were picking up a pie there last week and made a reservation. I had been here for lunch before, but forget about the restaurant as it's not on the beaten path, but located on a lovely road just off Route 1. Dinner was great. Both my husband and myself ordered a different fish entree. They both were well-prepared and the presentation was lovely. We sat outside and enjoyed a nice evening, good service and a friendly atmosphere. Also, their berry pies are available for purchase. They come frozen and you bake them for a little more than an hour. I'd like to pass them off as my own, but no one would ever believe I could make the crust as perfect as the Morrison's.
