“Nice walk and self-guided tour”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

Short walk through the woods, with stopping points for the self-guided tour. Trail was well maintained and easy to walk. Restrooms were not clean, but kind of what you would expect for a small outdoor area. We enjoyed the break form all the crowds so this is a welcomed spot on a vacation to Maine.

“Nice short hiking trail, dog friendly”
Reviewed September 21, 2013

With ample parking and rest rooms this is a nice walking trail (about a mile) through the marshland along the Maine coast. Scenic vista resting points along the well-maintained trail. It is also dog friendly. Very enjoyable.

“A tiny piece of heaven”

We stopped and walked the 1 mile Rachel Carson trail in Wells. Beautiful and peaceful. Take your time, leave the electronics in the car, read the paragraph from the trail map at each stop to your kids.
