This was a great morning walk on our way up the Maine coastline. The trail is immaculately kept and is hard and wide enough that strollers or an adventurous person in a wheelchair could handle. Our four year old loved the trail, but was disappointed only to find some chipmunks and a squirrel during the walk. The lookouts onto the open marshes are very nice and could potentially provide more bird watching opportunities at different times of the day (we were there around 11:30 AM and there wasn't much bird activity at this time).
There are nice composting toilets (no smell) at the start of the trail, but we were not able to find any source of drinking water so bring your own if you'd like to hydrate before, during or after your hike.
