We came here with friends and their young children to walk the trails of the reserve. The children (ages 3 & 5) thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Everything is well-maintained and the trails are very well marked. The scenery is outstanding and covers a variety from open fields to woods to beach. Should you have more time, there is a visitors center as well. The Reserve is well worth a visit.
The suggested fee is $4 per adult or a maximum of $12 per car. No attendant is present so you pay on the honor system. There was plenty of parking but during the busy summer we assume it could be much more of a challenge.

We came here in late August around 4 P.M. after not finding a place to park at Marginal Way. The trail to the beach was a nice walk and the beach was nice. Only one other family at the beach we arrived. We would have stayed longer and walked more trails but needed to eat and find our hotel.

I again participated in the Laudholm Farm Nature Crafts Festival in Wells, Maine. It was another great year for artisans, as well as our fair goers. The Laudholm Farm is an estuary and its walking trails go all the way the their beach. Some day I hope to experience the rest of the property. I really love the birds and want to find them all.

Don't miss the Nature Crafts Festival in September between Wells and Kennebunk. Arrive early. Original and interesting.

Great beach at end of mile walk from parking. Staff very very friendly. Very few people on beach and nice walk to beach. Could be buggy on walk.
