“Very nice lobster rolls”

Very good service, excellent lobster rolls and diet tapioca pudding. They open in a comfortable schedule and are very well located, on route 1

“Cute little diner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2013

Moody's get all the press and the tourists, but if you want to go where the locals go, eat at Deb's.
They specialize in seafood so I had a grilled haddock sandwich for lunch which was fresh as could be. Many places won't grill haddock because it's thin, but they did and I really enjoyed it. They also put the tartar sauce on the side rather than slathering it all over. My friend was very happy with her medium rare burger and we had the best onion rings EVER! Mainers know how to do onion rings, but Deb's does them the best. A few tables over a young man was having a fried chicken sandwich that was so huge he could hardly get it in his mouth. Try Moody's for the atmosphere and then go to Deb's for the food.

“Best place for breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012

Most people think of Moody's Diner when they think of Waldoboro and that is a shame because Moody's food cannot hold a candle to the kind of breakfast one can have at Deb's Diner, which is just a half mile south of the former, on Route 1. No breakfast place I have been to serves omelets like Debs - huge, overstuffed with all kinds of delicious fillings, not to mention the crunchy home fries. Deb's Cabin Hash isn't hash at all but sumptuously cooked potatoes, onion and peppers with your choice of meat and style of eggs, topped with melted cheese. What a way to start the day. Kudos also for her blueberry pancakes. Her specials are also "awesome": try her new quesadilla omelet - who but Deb could think of this: a nicely toasted tortilla wrap containing moist savory eggs with your choice of meat and served with salsa and sour cream. They don't have this at Moody's that's for sure!
