The first time my husband and I stopped in it was for the lobsters, the second time it was for the lobsters and pie. We have eaten here twice in one week, it is that good. The lobsters are perfectly cooked, they have amazing coleslaw and the best pie ever. The lobster rolls are amazing too. The service was great and I have to say they completely blew Trenton Bridge out of the water. With the cool autumn air, we really appreciated the heated seating area.
Lobster pounds aren't like regular restaurants where things are brought to you. There is an element of self sufficiency that you need to have. We love this place because it is casual, no one cares that you are tearing into a lobster and getting butter everywhere. You get your food and you can sit quietly enjoying it or chat with the folks sitting around you. It is truly what you make it.
We will definitely go back to this place next year.
