We were able to get an early reservation an hour after calling. Service was very good. Atmosphere was average for an eatery of this type. Recommended wine was fine. Food
was very good (vegetarian cannelloni), perhaps the best cannelloni I've ever eaten. We
eat out weekly, and felt this was a very good restaurant... a bit overpriced, but worth the
bill. We ate in another local restaurant a couple of nights later which we thought was more
creative with their menu. We would probably be more likely to return to the other restaurant
before Red Sky.

Our dinner last Friday was phenomenal. James Lindquist greeted us at the podium and escorted us to our table. Elizabeth had the night off. James was featuring a Sangiovese from Oregon, so we had a sample tasting. After a champagne cocktail with peach flavored sugar cube, we opted for the lamb and the Sangiovese. The wine perfectly complemented the entree, which had roasted pita bread brushed with olive oil to dip into the sauce. What a dish. My wife needed gluten-free, so he whipped up gluten-free biscuits, which were delightful. She had an unbelievable number of these mini-biscuits to dip up her lamb gravy. Dessert was a chocolate mousse, smooth, which was a delightful finish to the meal. Bravo, James!!

Walked from our B and B, Clark Point Inn. Nice place, with a good menu and pretty good wine list. Service was good and so was the food. Drank wine with abandon, as we were not driving, a pleasant bonus. Felt somewhat sorry for the couple sitting next to us--they hardly spoke to each other. I liked this restaurant and found it to be comparable to many of the good restaurants in our home area, Washington, DC.

We got a reservation at the last minute as we didn't think we'd be down in SW Harbor, but are so glad we did! It's very unassuming from the outside, but don't fret. Inside, you're in a lovely bungalow home with wonderful art on the walls & casually elegant Agra. We were worried that our attire after spending afternoon at Wonderland would be too casual, but this isn't pretentious place. We knew our friend Carol had steered us right once agin from the first taste of complementary salmon mousse to the warm bread then the oyster soup, salads....and entrees. I had lobster risotto which was lovely & great for lazy lobster eater. The other 3 had crab cakes which are not usually served with vegetables--- but the gingered carrots got raves as well as crab cakes. Our gingerbread was two full pieces & enought to share with 4 people. Triple ginger I'd say. What a lovely evening--- we'll come again if ever close by. Service was fantastic--- from the person who brought bread to waiter & water--- not sure what some reviewers were talking about

Our second visit proved us right . Local ingredients , creative cooking and excellent service. Try the lobster risotto.... to die for. The owner is the chef and his charming wife runs the front of the restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the wine list varied. We , all six of us ,love this place. Call early for reservations.Even in the "off season" they are busy.
