Found this place on line and GPS'd our way there. It's kind of out of the way for those who do not live in the neighborhood but don't let that deter you. It's fantastic, friendly and has delicious home cooked pastries. The bagels are fresh and soft , the customers were polite and funny and the service was excellet. The only problem is making the decisions:, should I have the buttermilk spice cake, the lemon shortbread, the cinnamon buns, the bagels hot from the oven, the anadama bread , the gingerbread, the chocolate croissants, DECISIONS DECISIONS........solved that, got one of each, lol. You never know when we will be back in town. I wish they had a few tables on the sidewalk or a bench or somewhere we could spread the cream cheese on the bagels . We picniced on the hood of the car so as not to lose the hotness of the bagels. It was a fun and very positive experience. We would go back in a heartbeat if we lived in the area. Don't miss it if you love scratch baking like mom used to make.
