On Route 3. They recently removed the unregistered cars from the weeks. Evidently a place for "regulars."

If you're looking for the best breakfast spot in the area go to Greg's! Their pancakes are the best and are as big as the plate. If you are looking for something lighter have one of their homemade muffins. Be sure to have it grilled. You won't regret it! Family run and very cozy.

You just can't go wrong with a restaurant that is frequented by locals! When we stop by, probably three to four times a month, there are always regulars there. Nicole, the ever-present server, provides humorous and pleasant chatter that sometimes has the whole restaurant laughing. It may be a small diner, but we feel very comfortable there and are amazed at such a varied menu. The restaurant itself gives you the impression of a throwback to the 50's - Orders are taken to the counter and clipped overhead and the menu is posted on the wall in black and white with movable letters. No computerized receipts. Also, bring cash - no checks or credit cards.

As for food, we've tried both breakfast and lunch (no dinner - they close at 2:00 p.m. and closed on Tuesdays). There are plenty of choices that should suit anyone's tastes from seafood to Americana like meat loaf. The most expensive item on the menu is $14.95 for a seafood platter. My favorite is the cup (which is really a bowl) of fish chowder with a fried fish sandwich for $6.95. The chowder is loaded with fish pieces. My husband enjoyed the chicken Parmesan most recently. No matter if it's breakfast or lunch, the food comes in ample servings.

Don't be fooled by the humble entrance. You'll be glad you stopped by for food with no frills!
