The original owners have returned to Shogun and really have made a lot of improvements over the past year. They have renovated the dining room so that it is now brighter, cleaner and much more appealing. We went on a Saturday night, without a reservation, and found it to be not busy at all. I agree with other reviewers that they are understaffed ... they have 12 different hibachi stations (2 stations at each of the tables). One waitress and only 2 different hibachi chefs. The food was excellent, but service was slow for drinks, etc. With the original owners back I can only hope that word will spread about the improvements and that business will pick up for them, allowing them to hire more and more qualified waitstaff.
