I got the extra perks of a go pro for recording while in flight, good job over all, great weather. Great crew and beautiful women at the check in booth in bikinis!

To make a long story short. We reserved on Wednesday. When we showed up on Thursday the young lady who took our reservation noticed it had been erased and overwritten by the owner. She remembered it being there at the end of Wednesday. You could easily see our reservation under what the owner had written. All other reservations were in pencil. Our reservation for 2 was replaced by 2 reservations equaling 5, both written in pen by the owner. Was it an honest mistake, I don’t know. What I do know is that no effort was made to make this right. And when as a disappointed customer I became upset, instead of trying to make the situation right the owner became belligerent.

To sum it up. We were canceled, no one called us and the owner was rude. We are reasonable people. If we had been called and told they needed to reschedule us, that would have been fine. But to get up and drive to them and be treated like this is inexcusable.
When we left my wife and I both felt bad for the girl working there. We had a strong feeling she was in trouble for no keeping quiet.

Yes, it's expensive, but as a one-time experience it's awesome. They make it lots of fun, but are also very safety conscious. On the first try, the captain cancelled while we were on the way out to the boat because the wind became too turbulent. Just make sure you tell them whether you want to be dunked. We got dunked, or dipped, without having that conversation. That was fine. We wanted it. But if we had had cell phones in our pockets it could have been a problem.

Our experience in Destin was amazing and this trip will be one to remember. The captain and his helper were very personable and talked with us the entire time. We had a group of 6 and we had never parasailed before, but they made us feel very comfortable. Safety and knowledge of the equipment was very impressive. We also bought the picture package and it was worth the additional cost. Our images turned out amazing and they will end up on the wall of our house very soon.

Took the grandkids and the wife out for their first time up in the air!
Staff was friendly and helpful. It was a windy day, and we got some good height!

Not the best choice for 2 teenage boys. They were looking something a little more active. Once they get you up in the air, you just sit there for 10 minutes. Whole trip took one hour because they taxi you out from Saco to their main boat by the OOB pier. That boat barely goes anywhere and then they taxi you back to Saco.

Basically, we spent $250 for a boat ride. We were stuck on the parasail ingredients Baath for about 20 minutes waiting on the "taxi". They didn't even offer to let the boys go back up while we were waiting.

All that said, the crew was very friendly and helpful.

This is different from the one where you run a bit before take off and the landing can be a bit tricky. It's way smoother and enjoyable than that. Both of the guys are friendly and welcoming.
We waited for a yellow boat to pick us up along with four other people. After getting a bit away from the shore we were the first ones to take off. I got a bit anxious on reaching max height. Overall the view from above is amazing. You'd want to avoid looking straight down but I guess it depends on the individual. Carrying a wind cheater or a sweatshirt is advisable. They do keep your stuff like wallet or a phone on the boat. Whether you want to a dip in the water or not, full or below waist, mentioning it to them prior to the flight. They do take photographs for you for a charge and give them to you on a SD card immediately. If you are in a large group, it's better having them taken by your friends. If I were doing it again, I'd carry a go pro or a selfie stick. You might run the risk of losing it though and leaving the camera work to the guys below might help you enjoy the flight better. Depending on the number of people with you, it could take 1-2 hours to return.
There is ample parking and a restroom on the shore. A seafood restaurant and Ferry beach is nearby.

The folks at OOB Parasail were thorough, patient, gentle, supportive - nice folk.
The take off and landing were gentle and they took us right past our friends on the beach. The sense of quiet flight was amazing,
THANKS!

2 twin 10 year old girls and an obese father go parasailing....sounds like the start of a joke. The staff was really good with us. And I am glad all three of us were able to go up together. They are not kidding that anyone can do it as long as you don't get sea sick easily!
