From the moment we drove In the park everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. My wife and I took our 16month old son and we oriniginally had an overflow site but the staff made sure to relocate us in a site that was low in traffic and much safer. The food at their little shack was delicous and cheap(pancakes especially good). Pool was Refreshing and clean as were the showers and bathrooms. Our son enjoyed the playground too
Negatives: some of the sites were a little close to each other and open. If camping in a tent try to reserve a spot in the back section. If possible, avoid the overflow sites in the front of the camp near the store because it is a high traffic area and you will have little privacy.
If this is your first time camping this is a great place to start. A good balance of modern amenities while still feeling like your out in the woods even though you are close to town. Fantastic staffMore
