Beautiful large clean rooms with views of the bay. Great location right off Route 1 but private and quite. Friendly and helpful staff. The attention to detail is very impressive. Large property with beach access with chairs and umbrellas. We watched the sail boats come and go. Will stay again.

Property is gorgeous. Right on the bay with easy access to waterfront. Extremely well maintained from outdoor gardens to lobby to rooms and decks. Infinity pool, lush plantings/flower beds, lush lawn path to waterfront chairs, etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quiet, peaceful, convenient location. Could not have been better. Highly recommend!!

We stayed at the Island View for a week and didn't want to leave.

The property is off the beaten path but convenient to both Rockland and Camden. The spacious grounds are well manicured. You can meander through a wild-flower path down to the cove. (There are a four areas with Adirondack chairs facing the cove to tranquilly sit and enjoy the view.) In addition, there is a small beach that can be accessed during low tide.

The spacious rooms are charming with nautical themed appointments. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. We had an unobstructed water view from our room.

The room has a refrigerator which is great for keeping snacks / beverages.

Both Sheri's (front desk and housekeeping) are extremely pleasant and offered a wealth of information.

I'm already anticipating our next stay!

My husband and I are driving along the coast of Maine staying in various cities along the way. I chose this resort based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and the photos on their website. Such a cute little Inn on the water. We stayed in a room (#117) off the infinity pool that overlooks the water. The room has a front porch, was a good size, amazingly comfortable king size bed, nice bathroom stocked with amenities, cute Maine decor, big closet space and a fridge. There are two pools, but we only used the infinity heated pool which has an amazing view of the water. You can also walk down this huge field full of wild flowers down to the ocean. There are chairs to relax on and take in the views of paradise. They also have a small beach if you are brave enough to swim in the cold Atlantic waters. The lady that checked us in was super nice, but we really did not spend anytime in the lobby. One thing, I knew the rooms did not have coffee makers, but you really need to add them to every room. It is a necessity if you ask me! We went to the lobby before 7:00am, for the free coffee, but there was none - so maybe have coffee starting earlier for the morning birds too. This inn is not in a town with walking options of restaurants and shops, but that is part of its charm to be away from everything and everyone. Camden and Rockport are close though by car. I really loved this place and hope that the person reading this review also decides to stay there and fall in love!
